Wineries & Breweries

Located only 5 miles from the hotel, Burntshirt Vineyards is one of our local favorites. Take a short 10 minute drive and experiance a wonderful winery with a great tasting room, and many options to take home with you. Have lunch from their on site food truck, or enjoy a nice pairing of cheeses with your wine also availabel on site. 

Located only 11 miles from the hotel, Point Look Out Vineyards is located on Point Look Out Mountain, with 30 miles of panaramic views! It is only a short 20 minute drive and this vineyard features not just a great wine selection but also Meads. If you have never tried a Mead it is made with honey, water and alcohol. A must try in our area! 

This vineyard has 3 locations. The Flat Rock location has a more modern feel with  wine tastings and cheeses, or try one of their hard ciders. The Flat Rock location is within walking distance from the Flat Rock Play house so this is a great place to stop in to have a drink before heading to show at the Play House. This location also has a wonderul Sunday Brunch on the 1st Sunday of each month with wonderful Southern foods such as Shrimp and grits and Mimosas. Their vineyard portion is located at 588 Chestnut Gap Rd., Hendersonville NC 28792 if you would like to tour them. The link below is for their tasting room. 

Marked Tree Vineyards is only 4 miles for the Hotel, or a short 9 mile drive! This small vineyard has a lovely view of the mountains while you sip their award winning wines from their tasting room. Great Casual place to stop by and enjoy a glass of what may be a new favorite! 

Stone Ashe Vineyard is just 10 miles from the hotel, or a short 15 minute drive. Their tasting room is open Thursday-Sunday from 12pm-6pm. They have a wonderful tasting room that is beautifull decorated.

You may have already tried the very popular Sierra Nevada beers, but if you haven't visited one of their taprooms it is a must! Such a beautiful, cozy place with great food and great beer. You can have dinner here or just go to enjoy one of their many seasonal beers. They also offer tours of the Brewery it's self. Call ahead to get the behind the scenes look. Located 15 miles from the hotel it is only a 20 minute drive. 

Dry Falls is located downtown Hendersonville, only 7 minutes away. It is a locally owned Father and Son Brewery that has opened up just a couple years ago, and has been very popular. They have some great names to their brews, such as "Paddle Faster Pale Ale", Jalapeno IPA and the very fruit beer of "The very berry Blonde" . They also serve snacks and light foods from a food truck on site. With a nice large open tap room, and good bar area it is a great, casual place, to try while visiting us. 

Located just 7 minutes from the hotel, Triskelion Brewing Company is in Down Town Hendersonville and as their website says, plain and simple "Trskelion  Brewing  is dedicated to bringing you a damn good beer. That's it. "..  Simpely put. They have a food truck on site certain days of the week. They are open 4pm-10pm during the week and till midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. (There is a local tattoo shop upstairs in the brewery if you are interested called Blood & Brews Tattoo Studio) 

Bold Rock has a really great laid back atmosphere! And you can find many of their Hard ciders in local grocery stores. The Mills River location is only 15 miles or 22 minute drive from the hotel. They allow pets, and have lots of outdoor seating as well as inside. There is a deck above the bar inside to look over the crowd, and their Hard Ciders are "Crushed & Crafted" right here in the Blue ridge mountains. This area is known for it's apple orchards, so it makes sense to have a great selection of locally made hard ciders.They have recently added Hard Leamonades and Hard Teas. Worth a visit!
